Pieces of Eight: Foundational Physics

Pieces of Eight is an exploration of ideas on fundamental representation in physics, aiming to describe a unifying framework.

Coded Raw: an open and universal image format
Coded Raw Project

An ambitious project to define a method for open and futureproof interchange of image data, by embedding modular decoding logic within an image, compliant with a standard interface.

The basic elements of the project are: (a) an API, (b) a file format, (c) standards to support the API and file format, and (d) working applications.
